We did. It’s annoying to see the new owner of CCleaner (i.e. Avast) is trying to monetize the program and they seem to be a bit aggressive. Thus some people are switching away from CCleaner.

Are you in the crowd as well? Let me know how you like the new CCleaner versus the old one (owned by Piriform).

Avast is back in the scam came again.
Ccleaner v5.74 inserts itself in the autostart group every time you launch it, whether or not the box “Run Ccleaner when the computer start” is checked or not. And, when you launch it – even if you clean the autostart and uncheck the so called “Smart Cleaning” option, it remains running in the background after being closed. The only way to stop it is to open the taskbar, right-click on the icon and choose exit.
But the next time you run it – the whole thing repeats itself.

Method 1 never works for me and has caused me to uninstall Ccleaner every time I finish using it. I haven’t tried method 2 though!
