However, one issue that many people find annoying is – CCleaner auto starts when you turn on your PC. While it’s a super helpful tool but you don’t need to use it every day.
In this tutorial, we’ll show you two quick ways to stop CCleaner from starting up on Windows 10. Just follow the step-by-step guide and you should be all set.
Method 1: Stop Starting Up via CCleaner Settings
Step 1: Open CCleaner and click the Options icon in the left pane of the window.
Step 2: Under the Settings tab, uncheck the Run CCleaner when the computer starts option.
That’s it, simple!
If for some reason CCleaner still starts up, try the alternative methods below.
Method 2: Stop Starting Up via Windows Settings
Step 1: Press Windows key on your PC keyboard, or click the Windows icon on the lower-left corner and then click the gear icon to open Windows Settings.
Step 2: After you open the Windows Settings, click Apps to continue.
Step 3: Click the Startup tab on the left pane, find CCleaner on the list and switch the button from On to Off.
