When you need to hide comments in Figma, simply press the Shift + C keyboard shortcut.
My name is Yana, and as I work with Figma, I frequently collaborate with other designers and clients by sharing my design files to gather valuable feedback. This helped me to improve my designs, but I realized that the comments often covered a part of the design.
Luckily there is a way to hide them which is really handy. In this post, I will share how to hide comments in Figma in order to declutter your design file.
Hide Comments in Figma
Comments in Figma are visible by default, and every person who has viewer access to your design file can leave feedback on your work.
Even though commenting is one of the greatest Figma features, it can be quite annoying when you need to stay focused on your design project. Fortunately, you can hide them quickly by pressing Shift + C on your keyboard. You can always unhide the comments later by pressing the same keyboard shortcut.
Final Thoughts
Hiding comments in Figma can help you to work without distractions. I personally think this is an essential feature as it allows you to keep working on a clean canvas.
While there isn’t currently an option to disable comments entirely in Figma, it is worth noting that the Figma team is actively working on introducing such functionality in the future.
Let us know in the comments section below if you have any more questions about this feature in Figma.
