How to Choose a Wireless Computer Monitor

Here are several key factors that you should take into account while choosing a wireless monitor.

Size

Of course, the first thing to look at when getting a monitor is its size. Every user needs a different-sized display based on their preferences and their available space.

While a wider screen with stunning graphics looks great, that’s not the only consideration. Always know where you want to put your monitor, as well as the size of your desk. If you have to give up a few inches to make it fit, that’s fine.

Audio Quality

Many monitors, especially newer wireless models, come with built-in speakers. Though audio quality doesn’t matter to everyone, if you’re someone who watches a lot of movies or who likes to rock out to their favorite tunes, it’s best to get a model that delivers crisp audio.

Always look for the built-in speaker options as well. There’s nothing wrong with plugging in your own hardware, but it’s always nicer when you don’t have to.

Color and Display

Of course, when getting a monitor you also want to pay attention to the display. Bright colors are incredibly important, as is a crisp resolution and good edges. The better your screen’s aspect ratio, the better it looks.

Always do your best to find a picture that truly pops. This is especially important for gamers, as well as those who spend a lot of their computer time watching TV shows or movies.

Useful Tips and Information

A new monitor, expensive or otherwise, needs to be properly protected. Caring for your devices is incredibly important and helps them work at full capacity for a longer period of time. If you’re curious about how to protect your monitor after purchase, check out this guide.

All monitors (wired or wireless) have lags sometimes, we don’t find wireless ones lag more than the wired ones and currently there aren’t any industry reports/testings about this.
